@John@fairdinkum.one When you break it down into the negatives of each party it kind of makes sense why some voted for their perceived ‘lesser evil’, at least in terms of number of atrocities:

Refusing to answer to Parliament (Penny Wong, Herzog ASIO)

Gifting Fossil Fuel company Alcoa an environmental-waiver to do whatever they want for 18 months (changing laws to suit corporations)

Pouring hundreds of billions down the drain on failed AUKUS during a cost of living crisis

As it stood before, One Nation didn’t have the power to do anything else but spout random racism, fly in gina’s jet and attend DT’s events, but now they have an actual seat.
